Mountain Zlatibor is located in central Serbia in the area with pleasant climate. First 'Air Spa' in Serbia was found here and tourists begun to discover the beauties of wounderful countryside in the late 19th century after visit by kind Alexander Obrenovic. .

The average height of mountain Zlatibor is 1000 m and there are few tops around such as Cigota (1422m), Murtenica (1480m), Tornik (1496m) and Borkovac (1260m).


It is the micro-climate of the mountain that is so special. There is a great number of sunny days during the year (more than 200) and the 'rose of winds' is 'blossoming' directly above Zlatibor. Summers are hot and winters are mild. It rains relatively often and it snows from October until May.


Zlatibor is primarily an extraordinary beautiful mountain with pleasant climate, spacious sloping slides, rich pastures and fresh mountain brooks. The area is also famous for its mellow mixture (more than 120 kinds of grass), and forests (beach-tree, oak, birch, lime tree, ash, ...) except on mountain top – Cigota.
